Desert in bloom

Here is a little barrel catus with its flower just starting to come out every catus has a different kind of flower which is so different and see the little purple flowere they are covering the desert with a daisy apperance to them.

This is the red plant found in the desert this view is so pretty with the log in background and desert bushes hoovering over this beautiful plant

Again we have the beautiful breakaway plant but the red plant in the distance is just a beautiful I am not sure of its name, the desert is full of colour and surprizes. You just never know what you will find.

This is a breakaway plant it has beautiful yellow flowers which look like daisies, they are all over the desert and along the highways so pretty against the catus and the other plant life of the desert

This is a prickly pear catus which is now in bloom as we have had lots of rain this season and it is so beautiful when you go out in the desert.

On the way to the stagecoach stop there are rock formations like arches here is Kathy and Ken at one of these arches.

Friday February 27th we went on a quad ride in the desert and came to the ruins of an old stagecoach stop there are so many things to see and find in the Arizona desert its a new adventure every time.
