One of our friends having fun on the sand dunes going up and over them some are quite challenging and it is so much fun.

Out in the desert we find an old windmill, and the stone water tank is almost full, there are so many interesting things to find in the desert.

Well the quad ride is well on its way only 6 more miles to go and we will be in the sand dunes that is where General Patton trained his troops.

Well now it is New Years Day and the breakfast is ready with hashbrowns and eggs and bacon or ham cooking in the big black pots and bisquits and gravy too, there are pancakes and blueberries and many platters of fruit just to get our day started you see. ( Don't you wish you were me ) well we do need to get some nurishment as a big quad ride is in the making for the days event.

A friend of ours is holding up the moon or that is what I was suppose to get the picture to look like but it was a beautiful full moon for our New Years Eve

As we all wait for midnight we are blessed with yet another perfect sunset, they are so beautiful here in the desert, once again who would not want to come to Quartzsite for the winter

Ken with our group of friends, after eating we got the bonfire going and sat around talking and visiting with the gang we have gotten to know real well, they are great and it is a perfect evening

Well here we are again eating, it is now New Years Eve Day so we decided to eat about 4 to be able to see before it got dark, having everyone bring something to the table makes for very interesting dining, great food great friends and great weather what is better
