This was the Zulu Parade it was very nice lots of bands playing, floats of all sorts, and lots of people walking. It got very crowded but was great to see after we had stood in the parade route since about 6:00 am and the parade started right on time at 8:am and lasted till about 11:30 am we were tired of standing and decided to leave and go for yet another buffet at the Treasure Chest Casino, so we left and once we were done lunch and gambled a bit drove back to our RV spot the parade was still in progress we got home about 4ish so you can see how long these parades last and look at the millions of people that watched it you can only imagine how many people are at this great event, I am so glad we came to Mardi Gras and stayed for a big parade it is an event I will remember always, thanks Jim and Carol for bringing us to Mardi Gras.
